Jagoda u Supermarketu

The movie we have most recently finished watching in class is titled Jagoda u Supermarketu. The movie is about a new supermarket in Belgrade called Yugo-America market. One day after the grand- opening of the new supermarket, a crazed man, enters the supermarket with a gun and takes several hostages. His claim for doing this was injustice after his grandmother was heckled for only wanting to buy strawberries ( the woman that heckled his grandmother is the main character). After a several hours of standoff between police and the hostage taker, the cashier and the hostage taker begin to have some sort of relationship. Although the hostage taker, Marko, is still unaware that jagoda, the cashier, is the one that heckled his grandmother. After their relationship kicks off, a man breaks in and attempts to kill Marko and take Jagoda away. At the same time, the police decide to storm the supermarket and they capture Marko. At this point, Jagoda admits that she was the one that heckled his grandmother. After this confession, Marko seems to understand and the movie ends with both of them exiting the supermarket together.
